IF YOU HAVE A GENERAL SERVICE POSITION IN AREA 23 (GSR, DCM, DELEGATE etc., BRING AN AA MEMBER WHO IS NOT INVOLVED IN GENERAL SERVICE AND THEIR REGISTRATION IS FREE!
HOW IT WORKS: BOGO covers registration only. Guests must complete the registration form and include payment for meals and, if desired, ice cream. Guests are to include your name on their registration form. All attendees are required to register. Offer expires September 7, 2026

What is the purpose of the BOGO offer?
The purpose is to increase Area Participation and encourage GSRs, DCM, and other Area Trusted Servants to invite others to attend Service Weekend and get exposed to the rewards of being involved in Area Service. Generals Service Representatives (GSR), invite a possible Alternate GSR representative for your group.
What about the other costs of Service Weekend, such as food and lodging?
Food and lodging are not covered. If these costs are barriers, consider packing a cooler and making a ‘day trip’ of one or both days, especially since the Abe Martin Lodge was chosen for its Central location, making it easier to attend without overnight expenses.
What other suggestions does Area have to help more attendees make it if economics is a challenge?
Consider bringing this idea to your Home Group in a business meeting to help members understand the value of Service Weekend, exploring if your group is willing to help with some costs Consider asking an Area 23 Officer, DCM, Past Delegate, or other Area 23 Trusted Servant to join you at the business meeting to support your effort with your Home Group. Other groups have prioritized helping a Home Group Member attend and grow in General Service.
